The program is chaired by Parag Kolhe of Pfizer and draws on academic and industry committee leaders, so it suits bench scientists and team leads more than clinicians or commercial staff, who will find little aimed at them.

A big convention center in New Orleans in late October is warm outside but often heavily air-conditioned inside, so a light layer and comfortable shoes for long days are sensible.
