Alaska Federation of Natives Annual Convention 2026

It is held in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Alaska Native community is the stated community served by the convention.

It is most worthwhile for Alaska Native leaders, tribal and corporation officials, and policy or government staff who work on Alaska Native issues, since the convention is described as the principal forum for the Alaska Native community on public policy and government. Visitors with no link to Alaska Native affairs or state policy would get less from it, since the focus is on issues specific to that community across the three days in Anchorage.

Attendees at the convention usually wear business casual, often with Alaska Native regalia or cultural garments, and late October in Anchorage calls for warm layers and sturdy footwear.
