Alliance Annual Meeting And Conference 2026

Alliance Annual Meeting And Conference 2026 took place at Quest Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Local history organizations, museums, and museum professionals in Ohio attend Alliance Annual Meeting And Conference.

It is most useful for staff and volunteers at Ohio local history societies, small museums and historical organizations, since the audience is Ohio museum professionals and the 2026 theme looked at how groups marked the nation's 250th anniversary and how to keep that work going. Sponsorship from the American Association for State and Local History and Ohio History Connection signals a peer-focused, state-level gathering; museum staff outside Ohio, or large institutions wanting national networking, will likely find a narrower program and pool.

Attendees at state local history and museum meetings usually wear business casual, such as slacks or skirts with a blouse or collared shirt, with a blazer for award presentations.
