Annual Conference of Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts 2027

The 2027 conference is at The Westin in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The stated audience includes professionals, researchers, academics, industry leaders, farmers, and other stakeholders in natural-resource protection.

It is most useful for staff and board members of Indiana's 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts, since the conference is organized for them and brings together researchers, farmers and industry representatives from the conservation field, with workshops and training sessions. Conservation professionals from outside Indiana would get less from it, as the focus is the statewide district network, and vendors should expect a modest exhibit area rather than a national show floor.

Attendees at state conservation and agricultural meetings usually wear business casual, with jeans and boots common among farmers and field staff, and warm layers for a late January Indianapolis winter.
