The organizer identifies security professionals, students, IT professionals, and non-profit professional IT groups among its audiences.
It suits security and IT practitioners and students who want affordable training and local networking in Westlake, since the week pairs national speakers and local experts with hackathons and competitions. Senior buyers hoping for a large vendor expo will likely get less from it, as the stated emphasis is training, keynotes and community groups rather than an exhibit hall.
Information security conferences usually see business casual, such as jeans or slacks with a collared shirt or casual top, and hackathon participants dress more casually still.
