Annual Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance State Convention 2026

The convention takes place at the Worcester DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

The organizer describes an audience of approximately 1,500 professional members.

The organizer identifies professional members and state leaders among the audience, with professionals spanning health, physical education, sport, recreation, outdoor pursuits, and dance.

It is most useful for Massachusetts health and physical education teachers and recreation and dance professionals, since the convention draws roughly 1500 members of the association and is run by MAHPERD. Vendors selling to schools and programs get a practical draw, because booths sit right outside the session rooms and the organizer reports heavy vendor traffic; educators from outside the state or outside these disciplines would find less that applies.

Educators at health and physical education conventions usually dress in athletic casual or relaxed smart casual, such as polos, sneakers and layers. Comfortable shoes matter at a large arena venue like the Worcester DCU Center.
