About
STEM Forward organises this single-day Milwaukee conference for community partners, schools, employers, and educators working in STEM across Wisconsin. The Stemmys, formally the Excellence in STEM Awards, honor organizations and people who raise awareness of STEM, and winners are celebrated at the event. 5 answeredAnnual sySTEMnow Conference 2026 takes place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
It is held at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The organizer identifies Wisconsin STEM educators, employers, schools, and community partners as the audience.
It is most useful for Wisconsin STEM educators, employers and community partners who want cross-sector contacts, since the day includes keynotes by AnnMarie Thomas and Michelle Thaller, the Stemmys awards and a K-12 student project showcase. Researchers or technical specialists seeking deep subject content will get less from it, as the one-day program is inspirational and aimed at connecting education, industry and community.
Educators and employers at regional STEM conferences usually wear business casual, and Milwaukee in late October calls for a warm coat for arrivals.
