The summit was aimed at educators and assistive technology professionals across New Jersey.
The summit was designed for educators, special educators, and assistive technology specialists working in schools and districts.
It was most useful for New Jersey special educators, therapists and assistive technology staff, since the day centred on assistive technology in education and the keynote was scheduled to come from Mateo Moreno, an AAC user who speaks on communication partners. As a one-day event at The College of New Jersey, it gave less to out-of-state attendees or to people looking for an extensive vendor show or multi-day technical training.
Educators and assistive technology professionals at a campus-based summit usually wear business casual, with comfortable shoes for moving between rooms.
