Big Red Teaching Days 2026

Big Red Teaching Days 2026 is held in Ithaca, New York.

The listed audience includes instructors and Cornell graduate students.

It is most useful for Cornell instructors and graduate student teachers who want practical ideas on teaching, especially with generative AI, since it is run by the Center for Teaching Innovation and ties to a GenAI for Teaching and Learning community of practice. Educators outside Cornell would get less from it, as the content centres on campus updates and peer discussion among local instructors.

Academics at campus teaching events usually wear casual or smart casual clothes, such as jeans or slacks with a sweater. Ithaca in mid-October is cool and often damp, so a jacket and comfortable shoes for walking campus are practical.
