CEA Convention takes place at Century Center in South Bend, Indiana.
The organizer identifies Christian educators, teachers, and administrators as attendees.
It is most useful for teachers and administrators at Christian schools in the Midwest, since the convention draws educators from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan and is framed around shared educational ideas and spiritual encouragement. Educators outside the Reformed Christian school community, or those seeking a large secular curriculum and edtech show, would get less from it, because the association's stated purpose is serving Midwest Christian schools.
Teacher conventions in the Midwest, especially at Christian schools, usually call for business casual, with slacks, skirts or dresses, and collared shirts or sweaters suited to an Indiana fall.
