CEDIA Expo 2026 took place September 1–4, 2026, in Denver, CO.

Attendees included system integrators, AV installers, IT professionals, home security personnel, distributors, consultants, architects, designers, builders, and remodelers.

It is most useful for system integrators, AV installers and other residential technology professionals who want to see new products in person, since the exhibit hall was billed as carrying 350+ brands across AV, lighting, automation and security. Architects, designers and builders could get in on a free eligibility-verified Day of Discovery Pass, which made it a low-cost way to meet the integrators they specify work with; people outside home technology, or anyone bringing children, would get less from it because under-18s were barred from the show floor. The Smart Stage sessions on AI in the rack and the next five years, with manufacturer executives and people from Josh.ai and Savant, were billed as giving integrators a view of where product roadmaps were heading.

Attendees at residential technology and AV trade shows usually wear business casual, such as polos or button-down shirts with slacks or clean jeans, and many integrators wear company-branded shirts. Comfortable shoes matter because the exhibit hall at the Colorado Convention Center ran three days of long hours on foot.
