Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician 2026

It takes place at Southpointe in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.

The program is recommended for maintenance technicians, porters, housekeepers, and other technical service personnel.

It is worth it for maintenance technicians, porters and housekeepers in apartment communities who want the nationally recognized CAMT certificate, since the curriculum follows Skill Standards and prepares participants for the exam. Property managers or experienced technicians who already hold the credential would get less, since the course is aimed at building job skills and preparing for certification rather than at networking.

Technicians at hands-on training courses usually wear work clothes such as jeans or work pants, a company polo or t-shirt and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Canonsburg in late October is typically cool, so a jacket is worthwhile.
