Cosmic Pathways Conference 2026

The conference is held at Adelphi University.

The organizer identifies students as an audience and invites high school and undergraduate physical sciences researchers to submit work.

It suits high school and undergraduate students deciding whether to pursue physics, and those with research who want to present a poster or short talk, since the abstract call welcomes student projects in the physical sciences. Established researchers looking for peer-level networking would get less, because the day is pitched at college and career pathways, backed by sponsors such as Brookhaven National Lab, Stony Brook University and Sarah Lawrence College.

Students at university campus events usually wear casual clothes such as jeans and sweaters, while those presenting a poster or oral talk often dress a step up in smart casual.
