Early Music America Summit 2026

It was held at Intellectual House, 4249 Whitman Court, Seattle, WA 98195, on the University of Washington campus.

The Summit was billed as bringing together the early-music community of North and South America.

It suited performers, teachers and presenters in early music from across North and South America who wanted presentations, workshops and live performances in one place, since the program ran three days on the University of Washington campus and included a Baroque dance workshop. Musicians outside the early-music field, or vendors wanting a large exhibit hall, would have gotten less, as the exhibiting options were tables and virtual booths.

Attendees at early-music gatherings usually wear smart casual, with comfortable clothes for movement workshops and a dressier outfit if attending the Bach Mass performance, plus a rain layer for Seattle in October.
