EDUCAUSE describes the Annual Conference as the largest gathering of higher education technology peers.
The 2026 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference was held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.
The conference gathers higher education technology professionals and providers from around the world, including people who use, manage, and lead technology decisions at their college or university.
Vendors get broad access to buyers, but people outside higher education, or those wanting small hands-on workshops, will find a large show less focused; an online portion on October 14-15 was scheduled as a cheaper way to take part.
Attendees at higher education technology conferences usually wear business casual, with slacks, collared shirts or blouses and comfortable shoes for the large Colorado Convention Center. Denver in late September and early October can swing from warm days to cool evenings, so layers are useful.
Attendees included higher education professionals who use, manage, and lead technology decisions at their college or university, alongside exhibiting technology providers such as Amazon Web Services, Adobe, and Accenture. Sponsor and partner organizations were recognized across four tiers: Mission Partners, Strategic Partners, Conference Partners, and Conference Supporters.
