It is held at Durham, NC Convention Center, in Durham, North Carolina.
The published audience includes dancers, parents, and teachers.
It suits dancers who want a single day of hands-on master classes, and studio teachers and parents who want to see students trained, with an audition for the 'Dream Team' as an added draw. Dancers looking for multi-day intensives or a full competition schedule would get less from the compact one-day version.
Dancers at convention workshops usually wear fitted dancewear such as leotards, tights or dance shorts and class shoes suited to their styles, while parents and teachers dress casually.
