It is worth it for architects, engineers and contractors working on building envelopes, since the one-day program was billed as featuring practitioners from Populous, Thornton Tomasetti and Goettsch Partners plus a keynote by Marlon Blackwell on themes like facades for Colorado's climate. The expo gallery of about 20 sponsors and exhibitors such as Kingspan Insulated Panels and Viracon was billed as giving specifiers direct access to product reps; people outside design and construction, or those wanting multi-day depth, would get less from a single-day event.

Architects and building professionals at facade events usually wear smart business casual, often with dark neutral layers and a blazer, and comfortable shoes for the exhibit gallery. Denver in October can be cool, so a jacket is useful.
