Fall GAEA Conference 2026

The 2026 conference is at The Marriott in Augusta, Georgia.

The conference identifies educators, visionaries, and creators as people it seeks to lead workshops and super sessions.

Art educators outside Georgia or those seeking national-level research will get less from it, as it is a state association meeting with a supply sponsor, Dick Blick, rather than a large national show.

Art teachers at state conferences usually dress in relaxed business casual with some personal, creative flair, such as artistic jewelry or colorful layers. Workshops can involve materials, so comfortable clothes and shoes suit the Riverwalk setting in Augusta, where late October is mild.
