Hawkeye State Fire Safety Association Annual Fall Conference 2026

It takes place at The Shop DSM in Des Moines, Iowa.

The organizer lists fire and building safety professionals, municipal officials, equipment vendors, and community leaders as audiences.

It is most useful for Iowa fire marshals, building officials and code inspectors, since the focus is fire and building code education and the speakers include the Des Moines Fire Department, BCS Code Group and NFSA with a Plainfield (IN) fire department, which means local practice alongside code expertise. Equipment vendors attend, so it works for those selling into Iowa jurisdictions, but sales staff aiming at national buyers, and practitioners outside Iowa, would find a regional association meeting narrower than a national fire-protection show.
