The published audience includes association professionals, supporting members and non-members, association staff, meeting planners, company representatives and consultants.
It is most useful for suppliers, consultants and destination marketers who want to meet association executives and meeting planners in one room, since the exhibit hall carries convention bureaus from cities such as Atlanta, Boston and Des Moines plus technology vendors like Cadmium. Association professionals seeking deep education would get less, as the event is aimed at for-profit companies seeking association business, and onsite sales are limited to exhibitors, so non-exhibiting vendors have a weaker case.
Association and meetings-industry events in Chicago usually call for business casual to business attire, and comfortable shoes help on an exhibit hall floor at McCormick Place.
