Questions people ask
5 answeredThe conference starts on December 3, 2026.
The 2026 conference takes place at The Westin Hotel in Jersey City.
The organizer identifies producers, blenders, additive companies and traders as participants, alongside industry leaders and delegates.
It is most useful for base oil and lubricant commercial staff such as traders, blenders and suppliers, since sponsors include ADNOC, ExxonMobil, Chevron Oronite and Motiva, which suggests producers and buyers in the same room. Technical staff seeking research-style sessions would get less, as the conference is framed around commercial deal-making and sourcing rather than technical papers.
Attendees at energy and chemicals commercial conferences usually wear business formal to business casual, with suits or blazers and open collars. Jersey City in early December is cold, so a warm coat is sensible.
