The expo takes place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
The organizer identifies electrical contractors, industry professionals, business owners, and chapter leaders as audiences for the event.
It is most useful for owners and managers of small and mid-size electrical contractors and for IEC chapter leaders, since the audience is electrical and systems contractors and the program offers hands-on sessions and a tools and technology showcase. Contractors wanting a national-scale product show covering the whole building trades, or those outside the IEC network, would find it narrower than the biggest electrical trade events.
Contractors at electrical trade expos usually wear business casual or clean work wear, such as polos with company logos and khakis or jeans. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes help on a convention center floor.
