5 answeredILHIA Conference 2026 took place October 13–15, 2026.
The 2026 edition was held at The Westin Chicago Northwest Hotel & Conference Center in Itasca, Illinois.
The stated audience was municipal, county, state, and federal law enforcement officers interested in the investigation and prosecution of homicide offenses and violent crime.
It is most useful for municipal, county, state and federal investigators and prosecutors working homicide and violent crime, since it is the association's annual training conference, aimed at peers from across Illinois. Officers outside homicide work or outside Illinois would get less from it.
Attendees at law enforcement training conferences usually wear business casual or department polo shirts and slacks, with suits for those presenting or attending the award event.
