Illiana Watermelon Association Annual Convention 2027

It is held at French Lick Springs Hotel Resort in French Lick.

The association identifies its growers as part of its audience.

It is most useful for watermelon growers, the audience the association describes as its own, who want to compare notes with neighbouring farms during the January off-season at French Lick Springs Hotel Resort. Buyers, vendors or people from outside melon production will get less from it, since the facts point to a grower-centred association meeting rather than a broad trade show.

Growers at state association meetings usually wear casual or business casual clothing, such as jeans or slacks with a collared shirt. French Lick in mid-January is cold, so warm layers and a coat are practical for a resort setting.
