Iowa Library Association Annual Conference 2026

The 2026 conference takes place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The organizer identifies library professionals, advocates, and enthusiasts as people invited to the conference.

It is worth it mainly for Iowa librarians and library supporters who want a statewide gathering in Cedar Rapids rather than a national meeting, since the audience spans library staff, advocates and interested members of the community. Specialists chasing deep technical content or large vendor halls would likely get less from it, as the facts show a state association event with a handful of listed speakers and no published exhibitor or track detail.

Attendees at state library association conferences usually wear business casual, with cardigans, slacks or dresses, and comfortable shoes for moving between sessions in a convention hotel.
