The conference is announced for Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The organizer identifies sheriffs, correctional and jail administrators, supervisors, officers, and civilian and medical staff as audience groups.
It is most useful for jail administrators, supervisors and line officers who want training pitched at their own daily work, since the gathering draws everyone from sheriffs to civilian and medical staff. Professionals outside corrections, and those who need a national exhibit hall or a large vendor pool, will get less from a regional meeting of this kind.
Attendees at jail and sheriff gatherings usually wear business casual, such as collared shirts and slacks, with administrators often in suits and some officers in agency uniforms or logo polos.
