KACD Convention 2026

The 2026 convention is at the Hyatt Hotel in Wichita, Kansas.

KACD members and the public are invited to attend.

It is most useful for conservation district members and staff in Kansas, and for agency and agribusiness partners who want face time with them, since the convention offers breakout sessions and keynote speakers for members and lists sponsors such as Sharp Bros. Seed Co., the Kansas Soybean Commission and ADM. Anyone outside Kansas or with no tie to soil, water or wildlife work will find it less relevant, as the association's focus is conservation efforts within the state.

Attendees at state agricultural and conservation association conventions usually wear business casual, with slacks or jeans, collared shirts and sometimes a sport coat, plus boots in farm country. Late November in Wichita is cold, so a warm jacket is sensible for the walk around the downtown hotel.
