It takes place at Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri.
The stated audience includes building officials, fire officials, architects, engineers, and other code professionals.
It is most useful for building officials, fire officials and plan reviewers in Missouri who need code training hours, since the program runs about two and a half days of instruction by ICC Instructors and industry experts and brings the state's ICC chapters together. Architects and engineers can use it for code updates and for meeting jurisdictions they work with, though those who need national-scale exhibitors or highly specialised technical tracks will find a regional, chapter-driven meeting with a vendor expo narrower than a national show.
Attendees at code official and building trade training events usually wear business casual, such as slacks and collared shirts or polos, with jackets optional. The lakeside resort setting in Osage Beach in November suggests layers for cool weather and comfortable shoes for the vendor expo.
