Catholic faithful seeking a weekend of faith and fellowship attend Marian Conference.
It is most worthwhile for practising Catholics who want a retreat-style weekend of talks and fellowship, since the confirmed speakers included Bishop Jeffrey Walsh and Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the event has run annually since 1992. Those looking for a professional networking event or a fixed, published schedule will get less from it, as the full 2026 schedule was still forthcoming and the draw is faith and friendship.
Attendees at Catholic weekend conferences usually dress in relaxed business casual, with layers and comfortable shoes suited to a northern Michigan resort in October.
