It was held at Oasis Hotel & Convention Center, 2546 North Glenstone, Springfield, MO 65803.
The published audience was Missouri librarians and library workers from across Missouri.
It was most useful for Missouri librarians and library workers who wanted a state-level gathering for ideas and connections with colleagues, with a keynote by author Kate Klise and a pre-conference led by staff from St. Louis County, Webster Groves Public Library and Mid-Continent Public Library. Librarians outside Missouri, or those seeking a national-scale program and large exhibit hall, would likely get more from a national meeting than this two-day regional one.
Library conference attendees usually wear business casual or relaxed smart casual, with comfortable shoes and a cardigan or light layer for air-conditioned meeting rooms.
