MOA Convention 2026

The convention took place at St. Charles Convention Center and Embassy Suites in St. Charles, Missouri.

The convention was aimed at Missouri optometrists and paraoptometric professionals from across the state.

Sessions were scheduled to address dry eye management, diabetic retinopathy in primary care, corneal pathology, and surgical case analysis techniques.

It was most useful for Missouri optometrists and their paraoptometric staff who needed continuing education, since OD sessions were scheduled to cover dry eye management, diabetic retinopathy and ocular surface inflammation, and the para staff had their own registration track. Optometrists from other states, or anyone wanting a large national exhibit hall, would have gotten less, because this was a state association meeting run by the Missouri Optometric Association with Bausch + Lomb listed as a sponsor.

Optometrists at state association meetings usually wear business casual for sessions, with slacks and collared shirts or blouses, and a step up for the Presidential Awards Luncheon; golf outings call for golf attire.
