MxD Summit 2026

The summit takes place at MxD in Chicago, Illinois.

The organizer identifies government leaders, industry executives, manufacturing practitioners, technology providers, supply-chain managers, workforce development leaders, investors and financial partners as audience groups.

It is most useful for manufacturing executives, technology providers and government or workforce leaders working on U.S. industrial base readiness, since the tracks cover deployment and scale, workforce, supply chain resilience and AI deployment, with breakouts on funding pathways. The MxD Member Showcase and the receptions at the MxD facility favour those already in or near the MxD network; general manufacturing staff seeking broad product exhibits would get less from it.

Attendees at manufacturing and government-industry summits usually wear business casual, with blazers or collared shirts and no tie, and closed-toe shoes suit the facility open house. Chicago in late October is chilly and windy, so a coat is sensible for the evening reception on Goose Island.
