The 2026 convention is held in Buffalo, New York.
The organizer identifies educators, advocates, and students among the convention’s audiences.
It is most useful for Native educators, advocates and students, and for organizations serving Native schools, since the convention pairs learning sessions with a trade show and the association is focused on Native education resources. Professionals after general education content with no Native focus would get less from it, and the student presence suggests it is more community and advocacy oriented than a purely vendor-driven show.
Attendees at education conventions usually wear business casual, and many Native attendees add traditional regalia, ribbon shirts or jewelry as a matter of pride and custom. Buffalo in early October can be cool and damp, so a jacket and comfortable shoes are practical.
