The 110th NYSAFLT Annual Conference (2027) is scheduled for October 15-16, 2027. It will be held in Syracuse, NY.

NYSAFLT Annual Conference 2026 took place October 16–17, 2026.

It was held at Crowne Plaza Albany – The Desmond Hotel in Albany, New York.

NYSAFLT members were required to attend. Members of out-of-state World Language organizations could email info@nysaflt.org about attending.

It was most useful for New York world language teachers, since the program was built around workshops on authentic resources, thematic curriculum and teaching Gen Alpha, and CTLE credit was available through an approved sponsor. First-time attendees got extra support through scholarships and a mentor stipend, while non-members and teachers outside world languages would have got less, as membership was required to attend.

Teacher association conferences usually call for business casual, with something a little smarter for the Friday Awards Banquet. Albany in mid-October can be cool, so a layer was sensible.
