It was held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile, 511 N Columbus Dr, 60611, Chicago.
The event was aimed at prospective MBA candidates.
It was worth attending for prospective MBA candidates who wanted direct conversations with admissions directors, since exhibitors were billed as including Carnegie Mellon Tepper, Georgetown McDonough, Indiana Kelley and Rice Jones, and the format was face-to-face meetings at no charge. Candidates who already held offers, or who were targeting schools not on the exhibitor list, would have gotten less from a single evening of school meetings.
Prospective MBA candidates usually wear business casual or smart casual to school fairs, since they are meeting admissions staff, and some dress in full business attire. Chicago in October can be cool, so a light coat helped for the walk to the hotel.
