OSTA Conference on Science Education 2026

It was held at Pendleton High School in Pendleton, Oregon.

Organizer-published audience information identifies Oregon science teachers in grades K–12.

It was worth it for K-12 science teachers in Oregon and nearby states, since the keynote was billed as coming from Paul Andersen of Bozeman Science, who focuses on three-dimensional learning and inquiry-based teaching, and members paid from $160. Educators outside Oregon classrooms, or those who wanted a large exhibit show, would have gotten less from a one-day state association conference in Pendleton.

Teachers at state science education conferences usually wear casual or business casual clothing, such as jeans or slacks with a sweater. Pendleton in October can be cool, so layers are sensible.
