It is worth attending for packaging and processing engineers, operations managers and buyers who need to compare machinery and materials in person, given the expected 2,600 exhibitors and about 48,000 attendees drawn from more than 40 industries. The priority registration fee of $30 is low against the value of the floor, but people who only want a narrow conference program, or who cannot spend days walking exhibits spread across all of McCormick Place, will get less from it.
Attendees at large industrial trade shows usually wear business casual with very comfortable walking shoes, since exhibits spread across all of McCormick Place mean long days on foot.
