Pastor Theologians Conference 2026

The organizer said the 2026 conference would gather hundreds of pastors, theologians, and ministry leaders.

It was held at Calvary Memorial Church in Oak Park, Illinois.

Pastors, theologians, and ministry leaders were the core audience. The FAQ also welcomed students, para-church ministry leaders, academic theologians, lay leaders, and lay theologians.

It suited pastors who wanted to do serious theological reading and discussion alongside peers, since the gathering centred on worship, reflection and the question of the church amid cultural crisis, with speakers billed such as Peter Leithart of Theopolis and breakout speakers from local churches. Attendees seeking hands-on ministry skills training or a large vendor hall would have got less from it.

Attendees at church and theology conferences usually wear business casual, such as slacks or khakis with a collared shirt or sweater, and the church venue in Oak Park in late October called for a jacket or layers.
