SAWC Fall 2026

SAWC Fall 2026 was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The organizer lists physicians, nursing professionals, podiatrists, physician assistants, physical therapists, researchers, scientists, dietitians, and healthcare sales and marketing professionals among attendees.

It is most useful for wound care clinicians across disciplines, such as physicians, nurses, podiatrists and therapists, since the four-day program offered continuing education credits and covered clinical guidelines, surgical techniques, reimbursement and diagnostics. The co-located NPIAP pressure injury track and faculty including Dot Weir and Robert Kirsner added depth, while clinicians outside wound care would find much of the program too specialized.

Clinicians at wound care symposia usually wear business casual, with comfortable shoes for long days and a sweater for cold session rooms. Las Vegas in mid-October is typically warm by day, so lighter clothing suits the setting.
