SDFM Strategy and Resources Summit 2027

The summit takes place at Carahsoft Headquarters in Reston, Virginia.

The listed audiences include defense financial managers and analysts, budget and program execution experts, audit and compliance specialists, strategy and policy advisors, and government and industry stakeholders in DoD financial operations.

It is most useful for defense financial managers, budget and program execution staff and audit specialists, since the one-day program covers audit readiness, health program financing, resource allocation and budget transitions. Industry stakeholders who want face time with DoD financial leaders will find a focused crowd at this one-day event, but anyone outside defense finance would find the content too narrow to justify the trip to Reston.

Attendees at defense and government finance events typically wear business professional or business casual, with suits or blazers common among senior leaders and industry guests. Military attendees may come in uniform.
