SHAPECO Convention 2026

The 2026 convention is at South Suburban Sports Complex in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

The organizer identifies health and physical education professionals from across Colorado as the intended audience.

The 2026 program includes more than 50 sessions; no attendee count is provided in the available event facts.

It is most useful for Colorado physical education and health teachers looking for practical classroom ideas, since the program offers 50+ sessions across Friday and Saturday aimed at those professionals. Educators from outside Colorado, or administrators wanting policy or leadership content, would get less, as the sessions are geared toward teaching strategies and resources and draw on a state audience.

Physical education teachers at such conventions usually wear athletic or casual clothing, such as athletic pants, sneakers and school or association t-shirts, since sessions are often active. The sports complex setting in Colorado in October suggests bringing a layer for cool mornings.
