It is most useful for California community college faculty, deans, student services staff and institutional research professionals, since The RP Group presents it with 3CSN and the Career Ladders Project and it spans two days plus optional post-conference workshops. Educators outside the California community college system would find less that applies directly, as the audience and partners are built around that system.

Community college educators and administrators at conferences usually wear business casual, such as slacks, skirts or dresses, and collared shirts, often without a jacket. Southern California in October is warm, so lighter clothing with a layer for air-conditioned rooms works well.
