Summit for Protecting Kids 2026

It was held at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, 200 S Sierra Madre St, in downtown Colorado Springs.

The audience included educators, school staff, counselors, youth and faith leaders, parents, and other trusted adults.

It was most useful for teachers, school staff, counselors, youth and faith leaders and parents who wanted practical grounding in children's online safety, since the one-day gathering from The Exodus Road was aimed at the adults children approach first, cost nothing and fed attendees at midday. Professionals who needed formal continuing education credit would have got less from it, because CEU accreditation was still in progress and only a certificate of attendance was offered on request; those wanting deeper skills could add the paid training on the day before.

Attendees at educator and community-focused summits usually wear business casual or neat casual clothes, and Colorado Springs in October can be cool, so a jacket was sensible.
