It takes place at Crowne Plaza in Springfield, Illinois.
The organizer identifies associates, fair boards, and people connected with fairs and associates as part of its audience.
It is most useful for fair board members and fair associates in Illinois, since the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs runs it and the attendee base is fair boards and associate people. The program closes with a Queen Pageant, and sponsors such as IPDA appear under a Parade of Champion Sponsors, which points to a tradition-heavy fair community gathering rather than a technical trade event. Professionals outside the agricultural fair circuit would get little from it.
