Questions people ask
5 answeredThe conference is scheduled for December 3–5, 2026.
It takes place at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott® Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The published audience includes small and exotic veterinary professionals, DVMs, and veterinary technicians.
It is most useful for small animal and exotic practitioners, both DVMs and veterinary technicians, who want hands-on continuing education, since the program includes lectures and wet labs alongside an exhibit hall. Large-animal or equine vets would get little from it because the audience is small and exotic practice, and anyone wanting a large national trade show should look elsewhere, as this is a state association event held at a beachfront resort in Fort Lauderdale.
Veterinary conference attendees usually wear relaxed business casual, such as polos, khakis, or casual dresses, with scrubs or closed-toe clothes that can get messy for wet labs.
