The Women Physicians Wellness Conference 2026

The conference took place at The Omni Amelia Island Resort in Amelia Island, Florida.

The conference was designed for women physicians from across medical specialties.

WPW Connect was billed as combining dynamic programming from the organization's Aruba and Grand Cayman editions for women physicians who prefer a stateside venue.

October 8 was scheduled to feature Fueling the Vessel, October 9 to cover Harnessing Stress, and October 10 to include Recognizing What is Yours and Releasing What is Not, all led by Ali Novitsky, M.D. Daily sessions throughout the day were scheduled to feature additional speakers including Erica Howe, M.D.

Physicians at a resort wellness conference usually wear resort casual, such as sundresses, linen and relaxed separates, with a light layer for session rooms and sandals or flats for the beach welcome reception.

It suited women physicians who wanted CME combined with reflection time at a beach resort, since registration bundled credit hours, writing journals and a beachside welcome reception, and the headline sessions led by Ali Novitsky, M.D. dealt with stress and personal boundaries. Physicians who wanted dense, specialty-specific clinical updates would have got less from it, because the program was built around wellness and career themes rather than procedural or disease-focused teaching.
