West Central States Wool Growers Convention 2026

It takes place at the Holiday Inn Cody - Convention Center in Cody, Wyoming.

It is most useful for sheep producers in Wyoming and neighboring states, since the program combines tours, workshops, speakers and a trade show under a state wool growers association. Anyone outside sheep and wool production, or people wanting a large national show, would find less here, as it is a regional convention held at a single hotel in Cody.

Growers at state livestock association conventions usually wear clean western casual, such as jeans, boots, button-up shirts and sometimes a sport coat or nicer western wear for the banquet. Early November in Cody is cold, so warm layers and a coat are practical.
