Wisconsin SHRM State Council 2026

It takes place at Kalahari Resort & Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

The conference is for human resource professionals; Wisconsin SHRM also encourages members from across the state to participate in conference committee opportunities.

It is most useful for Wisconsin HR professionals and SHRM members who want a statewide gathering and contacts with HR peers from across the state, since the state council runs an annual conference with volunteer-planned programming. HR staff outside Wisconsin, or those seeking a national-scale program, would likely get less from it, and the facts provided give no speaker or session detail to judge the program itself.

HR professionals at state SHRM conferences usually wear business casual, with some in suits on keynote days. Kalahari is a resort with a large indoor water park, so layers and comfortable shoes for moving between sessions suit an October Wisconsin setting.
