General Membership Meeting and Builder Election 2026

The event listing gives the location as Metairie, Louisiana, and names BuildStrong Academy as the venue.

The organizer identifies builder members as the attendee group.

It is worth it mainly for builder members of the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans who want to vote in the builder election and hear about issues affecting residential housing, with President Campo and CEO Mills among the listed speakers. The setting at BuildStrong Academy, run under Team Rubicon Disaster Response, adds a look at workforce development; non-members and builders outside the New Orleans area would get little from a local business meeting.

Home builders at association meetings usually wear business casual or work-casual clothes, such as collared shirts, khakis or jeans, and closed-toe shoes. Metairie in November is typically mild.
