Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association FallCon 2026

The event is held at the Renaissance Denver Hotel & Conference Center in Denver, Colorado.

Eligible attendees include MPIBA member booksellers, library staff, exhibitors, and invited author guests; author invitations for 2026 are closed.

The organizer describes the expected gathering as numbering in the hundreds, but does not provide a precise attendance figure.

It suits independent booksellers and library staff from the Mountains & Plains region who want to see forthcoming titles and products from publishers and vendors in person at a trade show in Denver. Readers outside MPIBA membership and authors without an invitation cannot attend, and booksellers from other regions may find a regional show less broad than a national one.

Bookselling and publishing events usually call for business casual with comfortable shoes for the trade show floor, and Denver in October favors layers.
